Koyo

Koyo is a melodic hardcore band from Stony Brook, Long Island, that formed in 2020. Comprised of members from other notable hardcore bands like *SeeYouSpaceCowboy* and *Typecaste*, the group blends the aggression of hardcore with the anthemic, hook-laden sensibilities of early 2000s emo and pop-punk. Their sound is heavily influenced by the legendary Long Island scene, drawing comparisons to bands like *The Movielife* and *Silent Majority*. After a series of well-received EPs, they signed with #Pure Noise Records#, releasing their debut full-length album, 'Would You Miss It?', in 2023, which featured collaborations with members of *Glassjaw* and *The Movielife*.
