Biography
Kult is a Polish rock band formed in Warsaw in 1982 by Kazik Staszewski, its singer, saxophonist and sole constant member. The debut album 'Kult' and the follow-ups 'Pos艂uchaj to do ciebie' and 'Spokojnie' mixed punk and new wave with lyrics against the communist system and the Church, producing Polish anthems such as 'Arahja' and 'Krew Boga'. Later records on #S.P. Records#, among them 'Tata Kazika' and 'Ostateczny krach systemu korporacji', added folk, jazz and a prominent horn section.
