Biography
English four-piece from Castle Donington, Late of the Pier were Samuel Eastgate, Andrew Faley, Sam Potter and Ross Dawson. Their sole album 'Fantasy Black Channel' (2008), produced by *Erol Alkan* for #Parlophone#, mixed dance-punk, synth-pop and progressive rock to wide acclaim. The band split in 2010 after the singles 'Blueberry' and 'Best in the Class'. Their restless, genre-hopping approach made them one of the most distinctive British guitar bands of the late 2000s new rave era.
