Biography
Le Mans was a Spanish indie-pop band from San Sebastián, formed by the former members of *Aventuras de Kirlian* with drummer Gorka Ochoa. A key Donosti Sound act on #Elefant Records#, the five-piece made four studio albums, 'Le Mans', 'Entresemana', 'Saudade' and 'Aquà vivÃa yo', blending clean jangle-pop guitars with Motown, bossa nova and, later, trip-hop influences. Singer Jone Gabarain, guitarist Ibon Errazkin and bassist Teresa Iturrioz defined their gentle, anti-rock sound before the band split in 1998.
