Biography
Lemon Jelly was a British electronic duo formed in London in 1998 by Nick Franglen and Fred Deakin. Three limited EPs on their own #Impotent Fury# label were collected as 'lemonjelly.ky' in 2000, and the sample-rich, melodic 'Lost Horizons' (2002) earned a Mercury Prize nomination. Their last album, ''64-'95' (2005), built each track from one sample taken from the years 1964 to 1995. The duo went on indefinite hiatus in 2008. Deakin is also a designer and co-founder of the studio Airside.
