Biography
English avant garde post punk project from Reading, begun in 1978 by Karl Blake and Gary Thatcher and continued as a duo by Blake with Danielle Dax. Lemon Kittens recorded the EP 'Spoonfed and Writhing' (1979) and two studio albums of surreal, tape based experimental rock, 'We Buy a Hammer for Daddy' (1980) and 'The Big Dentist' (1982), before Dax went solo.
