Leonid Fedorov

Biography

Russian singer, guitarist and composer Leonid Fedorov founded Auktyon in Leningrad in 1978 and still directs its music, writing the songs for landmark albums such as 'How I Became a Traitor' and 'Bird'. Since 1997 he has balanced the band with a solo career and collaborations with *Vladimir Volkov*, recording prolifically in both roles. His solo albums, often made with a handful of collaborators, strip the same restless songwriting down to its bones..
