Biography
Brazilian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Rio de Janeiro who played drums in the progressive band *V铆mana* in the 1970s before a solo career that made him one of Brazilian rock's provocateurs. Albums such as 'Cena de Cinema' (1982) and 'Vida Bandida' (1987), with the hit 'R谩dio Pirata', mixed rock with samba and sharp social commentary. Lob茫o is also a novelist and a combative public commentator on Brazilian culture.
