Biography
Macha was an Athens, Georgia band formed in 1997 by brothers Josh and Mischo McKay with Kai Riedl and Wes Martin, blending post-rock and shoegaze with Indonesian gamelan, dulcimers, gongs and vintage organs. Their albums 'Macha' (1998) and 'See It Another Way' (1999) for #Jetset Records# were college-radio successes, and after a collaboration with *Bedhead* they closed their account with the dance-leaning 'Forget Tomorrow' (2004). Josh McKay later joined *Deerhunter*.
