Biography
Massa Nera is a screamo and post-hardcore quartet from New Jersey known for their politically charged, technically complex, and intensely emotional sound. Formed in 2016, the band features all four members contributing vocals, creating a layered and chaotic sonic assault. Their music often blends frenetic hardcore with atmospheric passages, noise-rock, and even elements of dance-punk. They have gained significant recognition in the DIY screamo scene for releases like their debut LP 'Los Pensamientos De una Cara Palida' and the critically acclaimed 'Derramar | Querer | Borrar'. The band is noted for its prolific output on independent labels like #Zegema Beach Records# and #Middle-Man Records#.
