Biography
Masterplan is a German power metal band founded in 2001 by former *Helloween* guitarist Roland Grapow and drummer Uli Kusch. Fronted first by Jorn Lande, the band broke through with 'Masterplan' (2003) and 'Aeronautics' (2005) on #AFM Records#. After Lande's exit and return, and a spell with singer Mike DiMeo, the long-term line-up settled around Grapow, keyboardist Axel Mackenrott, singer Rick Altzi, bassist Jari Kainulainen and drummer Kevin Kott. The band's later albums include 'Novum Initium' (2013) and the 2026 comeback 'Metalmorphosis', released by #Frontiers Records#.
