Biography
Medalla are a Barcelona quartet formed in 2017 by Eric Sueiro (vocals, guitar, synthesizers), Marc López (drums), Joan Morera (guitar) and Josep Peris (bass, trumpet), veterans of several Catalan guitar bands. Their Spanish-language songs mix heavy metal, progressive rock, psychedelia and post-punk with raised-fist pop anthems and medieval imagery. Albums include 'Emblema y poder' (2017), 'Medalla' (2019), 'Arista Rota' (2021) and 'Música máquina' (2025), the later work self-released on their #Estudio Mazmorra# label.
