Biography
Merciless is a Swedish death and thrash metal band formed in Strängnäs in 1986 by Erik Wallin, Fredrik Karlén and Stefan Carlsson. Their second demo won them a deal with #Deathlike Silence Productions#, which issued the debut 'The Awakening' in 1990. 'The Treasures Within' (1992) and 'Unbound' (1994) followed before a split and later reformation, a self titled fourth album in 2003, and a return to regular live work with singer Roger Pettersson still fronting the band.
