Biography
Message was a German-British krautrock band formed in Düsseldorf in 1968 by guitarist Allan Murdoch and bassist Horst Stachelhaus. Its seven studio albums move from the heavy progressive rock of 'The Dawn Anew Is Coming' (1972) and 'From Books and Dreams' (1973) through the jazz-rock of 'Message' (1975) and 'Synapse' (1976) to the later Murdoch led lineups of 'Astral Journeys' (1978) and 'Miles of Smiles' (1980).
