Biography
MIMEO is the Music In Movement Electronic Orchestra, an eleven member electroacoustic improvisation ensemble formed in Europe in 1997. Members including *Keith Rowe*, *Christian Fennesz*, *Peter Rehberg* and *Rafael Toral* combine computers, synthesizers, prepared guitar and piano into collective, largely unstructured sound. Its albums include 'Electric Chair + Table', 'The Hands of Caravaggio' with *John Tilbury*, 'Lifting Concrete Lightly' and 'Sight', issued by labels including #Erstwhile Records#, #Grob# and #Cathnor Recordings#.
