Minutemen

The Minutemen were an influential American punk rock band from San Pedro, California (1980–1985), known for their "jamming econo" (thriftiness) philosophy, merging hardcore punk with funk, jazz, and folk. Comprised of D. Boon (guitar/vocals), Mike Watt (bass/vocals), and George Hurley (drums), they were highly prolific and celebrated for their short, complex songs and DIY ethos.
