Biography
Mithras is the Warwickshire death metal duo of Leon Macey and Rayner Coss, formed in 1998 and first heard as Imperator. Albums such as 'Worlds Beyond The Veil' and 'On Strange Loops' fuse hyperspeed drumming and dense riffing with ambient, cosmic atmosphere. Coss left in 2016 after recording 'On Strange Loops', and Macey, who plays guitars, drums and now sings, continues the band.
