Biography
Modern Baseball formed in Philadelphia, where Maryland friends Jake Ewald and Bren Lukens were joined by bassist Ian Farmer and drummer Sean Huber. The band's three studio albums, 'Sports' (2012), 'You're Gonna Miss It All' (2014) and 'Holy Ghost' (2016), made them leading figures in the 2010s emo revival, mixing pop punk energy with candid songs about college life and mental health. The band has been on indefinite hiatus since 2017. It has not announced a split, and no reunion has taken place.
