Moonshake were a London experimental rock band led by singer and sampler player David Callahan, formed in 1991 with guitarist and singer Margaret Fiedler, bassist John Frenett and drummer Miguel Morland. Their sample driven sound, heard on 'Eva Luna' (1992) for #Too Pure#, mixed dub, hip hop and noise rock. Fiedler and Frenett left in 1993 to form *Laika*, and Callahan led a second lineup, with Raymond Dickaty on saxophone and Matt Brewer on bass, through 'The Sound Your Eyes Can Follow' (1994) and 'Dirty & Divine' (1996) before splitting in 1997.
