Biography
Mortician is a death metal band from Yonkers, New York, formed in 1989 by Will Rahmer and Matt Sicher as Casket. With guitarist Roger J. Beaujard aboard from 1991 and a drum machine replacing a live drummer in the studio, the band signed to #Relapse Records# and released five studio albums between 1997 and 2004, from 'Hacked Up for Barbecue' to 'Re-Animated Dead Flesh'. Their songs pair extreme, guttural brutality with samples from horror films. Sam Inzerra has drummed for the band live since 2003.
