Biography
Mouse on the Keys is a Tokyo instrumental trio formed in 2006 by Akira Kawasaki and Atsushi Kiyota of *Nine Days Wonder*, completed in 2007 by pianist Daisuke Niitome. Using only two pianos and keyboards plus drums, they combine jazz, minimalism and classical composition with hardcore intensity on albums including 'An Anxious Object' (2009), 'The Flowers of Romance' (2015), 'Tres' (2018) and 'Midnight' (2024). Kiyota left in 2021, replaced by Takumi Shiroeda.
