Biography
Nasum were a grindcore band from Örebro, Sweden, formed in 1992 by Anders Jakobson and Rickard Alriksson and led from 1993 by guitarist and singer Mieszko Talarczyk. Across four studio albums, from 'Inhale/Exhale' (1998) to 'Shift' (2004), their politically charged, high speed sound made them one of the defining bands of modern grindcore. The band ended after Talarczyk's death in the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, briefly reuniting for a farewell tour in 2012.
