Biography

Neuma were a Warsaw post-metal band formed in 2001 by *Kobong* members Maciej Miechowicz (guitar), Bogdan Kondracki (bass, vocals) and Wojciech Szymański (drums). Their two albums, 'Neuma' (2003) and 'Weather' (2006), slowed *Kobong*'s experimental groove metal into spacious, dub- and jazz-tinged post-metal. Saxophonist Karol Gołowacz and *DJ Feel-X* guested on the debut but were not core members. With only two records, Neuma remain a cult name in Polish avant-garde metal.
