Biography
Richmond rapper Nickelus F, born Daniel W. Jones, emerged in 2000 by placing second in the Unsigned Hype battle run by The Source magazine, then won seven straight Freestyle Friday titles on BET in 2007. A prolific independent artist and member of the *Association of Great Minds* collective, he collaborated with *Drake* early in both of their careers. Tapes and albums such as 'Trick Dice' and 'Stuck' pair dense, technical lyricism with reflective subject matter drawn from working life and fatherhood.
