Biography
Night Verses is an American progressive metal band formed in Fullerton, California, in 2012 by guitarist Nick DePirro, bassist Reilly Herrera and drummer Aric Improta, initially with vocalist Douglas Robinson of *The Sleeping*. Albums 'Lift Your Existence' (2013) and 'Into the Vanishing Light' (2016) established their dense, technical post-hardcore sound. After Robinson's departure in 2017 the band became an instrumental trio, a format showcased on 'From the Gallery of Sleep' (2018) and 'Every Sound Has a Color in the Valley of Night' (2024).
