Biography
No Trend was a noise rock band from Ashton, Maryland, active from 1982 to 1988 and led throughout by singer Jeff Mentges. Deliberately antagonistic toward the hardcore scene that hosted its early shows, the band moved from the abrasive minimalism of 'Too Many Humans' to the horn driven sprawl of 'Tritonian Nash-Vegas Polyester Complex', working with a constantly rotating cast of musicians.
