Biography
NRBQ are an American rock band formed in Miami in 1967, led throughout by keyboardist Terry Adams. As the New Rhythm and Blues Quartet, they built a devoted cult following with unpredictable, setlist-free live shows roaming across rock, jazz, blues, country and Tin Pan Alley pop. The long-lived Adams, Joey Spampinato, Al Anderson and Tom Ardolino lineup defined the band from 1974 to 1994. Rebuilt by Adams after illness, the current quartet with Scott Ligon, Casey McDonough and drummer Jake Edwards continues to record and tour, most recently with 'Dragnet' on #Omnivore Recordings#.
