Biography
Brooklyn rapper, born Russell Tyrone Jones, and founding member of the *Wu-Tang Clan*, heard on 'Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)' (1993). Ol' Dirty Bastard's solo debut 'Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version' (1995) on #Elektra Records# yielded 'Brooklyn Zoo' and 'Shimmy Shimmy Ya', and his deranged, sing-song flow made him hip-hop's great wild card. He died in New York in 2004, aged 35.
