Biography
One Shot is a French zeuhl and fusion quartet formed in 1999 by *Magma* members Emmanuel Borghi (keyboards), James Mac Gaw (guitar) and Philippe Bussonnet (bass) with drummer Daniel Jeand'heur. What began as a one-off side project became a lasting band, releasing 'Ewaz Vader' (2006) and 'Dark Shot' (2008), records of dark, repetitive, improvisation-driven jazz-rock. Mac Gaw died in 2021 and the band honoured him with the live tribute album 'À James'.
