Biography
Os Mundi were a Berlin krautrock band formed around 1969 by guitarist and keyboardist Udo Arndt. Their debut 'Latin Mass' (1970) recast the Latin mass as heavy psychedelic rock, while '43 Minuten' (1972), produced by Conny Plank for the #Brain# label, moved toward jazz-rock fusion with English lyrics and single-take recordings. The band dissolved into Tequila Sunrise by 1974, briefly re-forming for Berlin concerts around 1979 and 1980, and left two of the most sought-after albums of the early Berlin scene.
