Biography
Houston noise rock band Pain Teens paired Scott Ayers and his tape loops, sampling and corroded guitar with the icy vocals of Bliss Blood. Formed in 1985 and later expanded by drummer Frank Garymartin and bassist Kirk Carr, the group moved from self released cassettes on #Anomie# to four albums for #Trance Syndicate#, including 'Born in Blood' and 'Destroy Me, Lover'. Their psychedelic, cut up sound made them central figures of the Texas underground before they disbanded in 1995.
