Biography

Kent-born singer-songwriter whose baroque psych-folk tales of ghosts, eccentrics and historical horrors began with 'The Werewolf of London' (1980). A cult figure especially in continental Europe, where albums such as 'Danse Macabre' (1987) and 'A Cabinet of Curiosities' (1988) found their most devoted audience, he is also a prolific author of popular books on the occult, mysticism and true crime.
