Poison the Well

Poison the Well

Pioneers of metalcore, Poison the Well emerged from Coral Springs, Florida, in 1997, initially as Doubting Thomas. The band is known for their dynamic and emotionally charged sound, which blends aggressive hardcore with moments of melodic introspection. Their influential debut, "The Opposite of December... A Season of Separation," is considered a landmark in the genre. Despite numerous lineup changes, the core of vocalist *Jeffrey Moreira*, guitarist *Ryan Primack*, and drummer *Chris Hornbrook* has remained central to their evolution. After a hiatus starting in 2010, during which members pursued other projects, the band has reunited for shows and new music, solidifying their legacy as innovators in heavy music.
