Biography
New York new wave band formed in 1978 around brothers Billy and Tommy Robertson. Polyrock's minimalist, keyboard-driven albums 'Polyrock' (1980) and 'Changing Hearts' (1981) were produced by *Philip Glass* and *Kurt Munkacsi* for #RCA Records#. After the EP 'Above the Fruited Plain' (1982), the band split in 1983. Their records have since been reissued and are regarded as a distinctive meeting point between the New York new wave scene and classical minimalism.
