Biography
Porter Ricks is a German dub techno duo formed by Thomas K枚ner and Andy Mellwig, named after a character from the television series *Flipper*. Their submerged, static-rich sound emerged on #Chain Reaction# singles in 1995 and 1996 and was collected on 'Biokinetics', a genre classic. After a self-titled album in 1997 and a collaboration with *Techno Animal*, the duo fell silent for over a decade before returning on #Tresor# with the 'Shadow Boat' EP in 2016 and the album 'Anguilla Electrica' in 2017.
