Biography
Principal Edwards Magic Theatre was a fourteen strong English performance collective formed at the University of Exeter in 1968, fusing progressive folk rock with dance, poetry and light shows. The first signing to *John Peel*'s #Dandelion Records#, they released 'Soundtrack' (1969) and the *Nick Mason* produced 'The Asmoto Running Band' (1971), built around Root Cartwright's songs, Belinda Bourquin's violin and Vivienne McAuliffe's voice. The collective split in 1971, and three members continued as *Principal Edwards*.
