Biography

Procession was an Italian progressive rock band from Turin, active from 1971 to 1975 and led by singer Gianfranco Gaza. Their debut 'Frontiera' (1972) is hard progressive rock with twin guitars and Gaza's high voice, while the largely re-staffed 'Fiaba' (1974) turns symphonic, adding saxophone and flute. Only Gaza and guitarist Roby Munciguerra play on both albums. The band split in 1975 without commercial success, and both records, first issued by #Help# and #Fonit Cetra#, are now rare collectors' items.
