Biography
Rage is a German heavy metal band from Herne, led since 1984 by bassist and singer Peter 'Peavy' Wagner. From speed metal beginnings the band moved toward ambitious, orchestral power metal on albums such as 'Lingua Mortis' (1996) and 'Soundchaser' (2003), and remains active. Wagner's longevity at the helm, through every change of line-up and musical fashion, has made Rage one of German metal's most durable institutions.
