R.A.P. Ferreira

R.A.P. Ferreira is an American rapper, producer, and label-head known for his philosophically dense and poetic lyricism. Initially gaining a cult following under the alias Milo, he released acclaimed projects like 'So the Flies Don't Come' before retiring the name. As a producer, he often works under the name Scallops Hotel. He is the founder of the independent record label and artist collective #Ruby Yacht#, through which he releases his own music and that of other affiliated artists. His work as R.A.P. Ferreira, beginning with 2020's 'Purple Moonlight Pages', embraces a jazz-inflected, free-flowing style that continues his exploration of Black art, identity, and language.
