Biography
Rare Bird was a London progressive rock band formed in 1969, built unusually on twin keyboards (Graham Field and David Kaffinetti) with Steve Gould (bass, vocals) and Mark Ashton (drums). Their debut 'Rare Bird' (1969) carried the European hit 'Sympathy', and 'As Your Mind Flies By' (1970) is their progressive peak. A rebuilt lineup made three further albums before the band split in 1975.
