Redbone is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1969 by brothers Pat and Lolly Vegas, with Tony Bellamy and Pete DePoe. The first commercially successful Native American rock group, they blended rock, funk, Cajun, soul and Latin influences, addressing Native American history on songs such as 'We Were All Wounded at Wounded Knee'. Their biggest hit, 'Come and Get Your Love' from 'Wovoka' (1973), reached number five in the United States in 1974. Pat Vegas has led the band since Lolly's death in 2010.
