Biography
German jazz rock band from Hamburg, active from 1974 to 1979 and led throughout by keyboardist Manfred Rürup. Release Music Orchestra grew out of *Tomorrow's Gift* and took its name from the Release charity its musicians supported. Five albums on #Brain Records#, from the psychedelic 'Life' through the Canterbury flavoured 'Garuda' and 'Get the Ball' to the polished fusion of 'Beyond the Limit' and 'News', trace a steady refinement of its ensemble sound.
