Biography
British progressive rock band formed in 1972 by keyboardist Tommy Eyre and bassist Roger Sutton, both fresh from *Mark-Almond*, with guitarist Pete Kirtley and drummer Aureo De Souza. Riff Raff mixed jazz and hard rock on 'Riff Raff' (1973) and 'Original Man' (1974) for #RCA#, gaining an underground following despite lukewarm sales. This is the 1970s UK band, not the American rapper of the same name.
