Biography
Robert Hood is a Detroit-born American techno producer, a founding member of Underground Resistance with *Jeff Mills* and *Mike Banks*. Through his label #M-Plant#, his album 'Minimal Nation' (1994) defined minimal techno. As Floorplan, later joined by his daughter Lyric, he channels gospel and disco into house music. His stripped-back approach changed the direction of techno in the 1990s and still echoes today.
