Biography

Rorcal is a Geneva band formed in 2006 whose music sits between drone, doom, black metal and post-hardcore. The seventy-minute 'Heliogabalus' (2010) marked their turn towards obsessively dark, heavy long-form pieces, followed by 'Világvége', 'Creon', 'Muladona' and 'Silence'. Guitarists Diogo Almeida and Jean-Philippe Schopfer and drummer Ron Lahyani have been constant since the start, with Yonni Chapatte on vocals since 2013.
