Biography

Rosanne Cash is a Memphis-born singer-songwriter and the eldest daughter of *Johnny Cash*. The title track of 'Seven Year Ache' (1981) made her a country chart-topper, and 'King's Record Shop' (1987) yielded four number-one singles in a row. From 'Interiors' (1990) onward her writing grew more literary and autobiographical, through 'Black Cadillac' (2006), written in grief for her parents and stepmother, and the Grammy-winning 'The River & the Thread' (2014). She is also a published author whose memoir 'Composed' appeared in 2010.
