Biography
American technical thrash band from Antioch, California, formed in 1984. Sadus combined breakneck speed with unusually advanced musicianship, especially Steve DiGiorgio's fretless-style bass virtuosity, on 'Illusions', 'Swallowed in Black' and 'A Vision of Misery'. After later albums as a trio and a 2015 split, Darren Travis and Jon Allen revived the band, releasing 'The Shadow Inside' in 2023. Their early records remain touchstones for the technical death metal that followed in their wake.
