Biography
Canadian progressive rock band from Oakville, Ontario, formed in 1977 around singer Michael Sadler and brothers Jim and Ian Crichton. Saga pair layered keyboards with staccato guitar and a long-running science fiction song cycle, 'The Chapters'. Their breakthrough album 'Worlds Apart' (1981) produced the international hits 'On the Loose' and 'Wind Him Up'. A planned farewell in 2017 was reversed, and the band remain active, most recently with the acoustic studio album 'Symmetry' (2021), their twenty-second studio release, and continuing international tours, especially in Germany and Canada, where their following has endured for decades.
