Biography
Wolverhampton rapper Scarlxrd, born Marius Listhrop in 1994, began as YouTube creator Mazzi Maz and as vocalist for nu metal band Myth City before going solo in 2016. His trap metal sound, built on distorted 808s, screamed hooks and metal guitars, broke through with 'Heart Attack'. Albums such as 'Chaxsthexry', 'DXXM' on #Island Records#, 'INFINITY' and 'PSYCHX' established his masked, anime influenced persona and a prolific, self directed career split between major label and independent releases.
