Biography
Secos & Molhados formed in S茫o Paulo, Brazil, in 1971. The classic line-up of Jo茫o Ricardo, Ney Matogrosso and G茅rson Conrad recorded two self-titled albums in 1973 and 1974 that fused glam rock, MPB and Brazilian poetry into a theatrical new sound, helped by Matogrosso's extraordinary high voice and the trio's striking make-up. The original group lasted only until 1974, but founder Jo茫o Ricardo continued Secos & Molhados with new musicians for decades, issuing albums including 'Secos e Molhados III', 'Teatro?' and 'Chato-Boy'.
